The work “TikTakTikTok” refers to social media (TikTok, Instagram, FB etc.) and their risks. In social media in particular, the mood can change immediately and end in “hate speech”. Controlled by algorithms that refer to posts that often express anger and hatred. The more negative reactions these provoke, the more often they are offered to the user.
The metronome (Taktell) sets the beat and the direction, which changes at the peak. Drawn headlines from current magazines swing from side to side. They are forced through the movement. The meaning can change at any time.
In fact, the name of the TikTok platform was originally inspired by the tick-tock sound of a pendulum clock.
