The “Melodymap” is a carpet that shows the graphical map of the “Melodymat”. With the help of the original three-dimensional form, different prints were created and these were then combined on a carpet.
In the widest sense the work also reminds of the “Automobile Tire Print” (1953) by Robert Rauschenberg.
On this carpet, together with the “Melodymat”, the “Melodymap-Performance” was first presented in the exhibition “The Good, the Bad, the Ugly, and the Beautiful”.
